Commercial insurance quote FAQ
Plain answers about preferred-class quotes, binders, consent, and what this site is for.
Is a quote a binder?
No. Coverage exists only when a carrier issues confirmation according to its rules and the policy forms it issues.
Which states can request a quote?
This site is for commercial insurance quote requests in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Arkansas, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Indiana. It does not target California as a state market.
How fast will you contact me?
We contact you as soon as possible after a complete quote request. It can take 1–2 business days.
What if my class is outside your markets?
If a product or class is outside our appetite or the markets we place, we may refer your request to a partner or affiliate agency or brokerage when you have consented on the form.
Do you sell personal auto or homeowners here?
No. This site is for USA commercial insurance — general liability, BOP, workers compensation context, commercial auto, and related commercial lines.
Why do you require a detailed business description?
Commercial underwriters need to know products, services, customers, and how you operate. A detailed description is required on every quote request.
Do you list which carriers appoint you?
No. Appointment rosters are not published on this site. We shop admitted commercial markets for preferred-class Main Street submissions.
What does preferred-class mean on this site?
It means we organize shopping around commercial classes that admitted markets commonly write for Main Street and related businesses — contractors, retail, hospitality, offices, wholesale, and similar groups — not a guarantee any carrier will offer terms.
